The Ancestor Veneration Ceremony 2025 is more than rituals and celebrations. It is an opportunity to learn, reconnect, and grow. The Understanding African Traditions Workshop invites participants to step into the heart of heritage through music, dance, storytelling, and sacred practices. Carefully curated sessions bring you closer to African traditions, ancestral wisdom, and healing practices. Each activity is designed to immerse you in hands on learning, spiritual reflection, and cultural knowledge guided by experienced facilitators, elders, and cultural practitioners.

- Opening Ceremony at the Summerhut with introductions and overview
Drumming & Dance Workshop exploring rhythms, movements, and their cultural meaning
- Veneration Songs Workshop learning traditional songs used in ancestral ceremonies

During the lunch break, participants can relax and recharge while enjoying carefully prepared meals that celebrate both tradition and taste. This is also a time to network with fellow attendees, reflect on the morning’s activities, and prepare for the afternoon sessions. Meals feature a blend of local Ghanaian cuisine and familiar dishes, ensuring comfort and cultural immersion for all.

- Funerary Art (Insiso) hands on creation of symbolic sculptures tied to veneration practices
